The Alabama Mortgage Laws state that the licensees must do the following:
Create a written contract with the borrower detailing the nature of their relationship, and the nature in which the broker will be paid. This must occur before any fees are paid.
Comply with all federal and state disclosure laws.
Maintain an office in the state, and maintain a license certificate with the office address listed upon it.
